The "DS Series" is a door opening and closing safety device that can be utilized with control panels that use an external operating handle (operating lever) for circuit breakers on the door. It was developed with consideration for addressing the "mechanical interlock of the door" required by NFPA 79 (Electrical Safety Standards for Industrial Machinery). In control panels with a double door equipped with an external operating handle for circuit breakers, it mechanically prevents the power from being turned ON while the door is open.
